About Me
My name is Gabriela Cedeno. Growing up in the beautiful twin island state of Trinidad and Tobago has shaped me into the textbook Island gyal that I am, but I'm so much more than that.
I love spending my days laying out on the beach or walking through pastures of fruit trees in my back yard, but I also work two jobs, I love dabbling in new creative projects and I'm a cat mom. I love listening to Soca and Dancehall music just as much as I love listening to BBC World Service and watching Rom Coms. I can never stop learning (probably the effect of my Gemini moon placement). That's another thing I love learning about too, astrology.
Anyways, after battling with many of the normal adolescent and young adult issues we all tend to face mentally, physically, emotionally and spiritually, I've started making some big changes in all aspects of my life. I'm constantly working on being more productive, more spiritual, healthier, kinder and I've made a real effort to heal past traumas and continuously feed my mind, spirit, body and soul with all that is good.
I love writing and I don't just want to write for myself. I would also like to inspire others on my journey.
Being able to make a difference in this world while doing something I love, however small it may be, truly allows me to step into a greater purpose.
My purpose is to share my light with others.
